Pakistan has many places to explore, and these places include some of the peaks that are famous for their high altitude and beautiful sceneries. Among the many peaks occupying Pakistan, I visited the Bilchar Dobani Peak. It suits to call the valley a destined location for adventurers and mountaineers all over the world.
This peak has heights and rough and rugged terrains, which can offer a very thrilling experience for climbers and hikers. Before sharing my own experience, let’s look at some history, the location of the Peak, and its height.
The Bilchar Dobani Peak, located in the mountaineering realm of Gilgit Baltistan, has a staggering altitude of 6,143 meters (20,154 ft). This peak is between Bilchar, Taisot, Haramosh, and Bagrot Valleys in the Gilgit district of Gilgit Baltistan Region of Pakistan. This mountain is in the Rakaposhi Mountains. It is in the Southwest of the Haramoshi Mountains, an isolated mountain range. Tesot Valley has the peak’s West side, and Bagrot Valley has its north. The Haramosh Range is in the northwest. The mountain range is located at 29 Km of East Baltistan.
Trek to Bilchar Dobani Peak:
I started with much zeal but faced some of the very hard circumstances. But once I experienced it, I felt it was all worth it. I started my journey from the Karakoram Highway village, and it took me 8 hours to reach Bilchar Dobani Base Camp. Physical fitness is vital here because the trail is steep and rocky. The surrounding valleys and mountains and the views of the beautiful glaciers make the whole journey an unforgettable one.
I passed by a small village in Karimabad and then went through many scenic valleys and fresh green forests, which were a delight for the eyes. Then, I remember wandering through those villages and the vicinity. I felt so much joy that the fresh, green environment provided me.
I realized that the conservation of our trees and forests in our atmosphere brings us so much peace and tranquility and can be a source of great pleasure, not only for us but for the other community and the tourists that visit the place.
The diverse flora and fauna gave me some wonderful feelings and joy. It offered me some very breathtaking views that I remember today. As I proceeded with my journey, I saw many small villages and campsites. Finally, I rested there for a time and continued my journey. I wonder how beautiful nature can be by the views and the glaciers. It feels wonderful when I think about all the lovely scenic views of the peak.
My experience witnessed the most beautiful natural beauty of Haramosh Valley, where I saw a wide variety of flowers and gardens. The wildlife that I saw there included leopards, Himalayan ibex, and brown bears.
Culture and Heritage:
The Haramosh Valley is also home to a precious heritage of cultures, alongside being the thrilling and adventurous lace for a climb. I moved through the villages while observing and getting some very kind treatment from the local people there. I had the time of my life when I enjoyed not only their local food but also their local handmade crafts. It was a joy to observe the treatment of the local people. They were kind, hospitable, and generous enough to serve and greet the travelers along with me.
There are several interesting and fun activities on the Dobani Peak and Haramosh Valley. The valley has some breathtaking scenic views, which can be delightful for explorers to watch and explore. Other activities may include camping and birdwatching in the valley. The valley provides a serene, peaceful environment. The peaceful atmosphere provides mental peace and relaxation, which I will not forget for the rest of my life.
Camping has its charm because the valley is in an isolated area, so camping there is very peaceful. I also enjoyed the campfire. Birdwatching is another interesting activity that gives pleasure because different species of birds surround the valley, making it pleasant to watch.

Conclusively, Dobani Peak is a beautiful natural gift from nature that should not be missed and left unexplored. The valley is rich in its beauty and shares some of the most beautiful cultural heritage. It is truly a destination for every tourist who wants to explore and watch the wonders of nature. The flashbacks of the journey are still fresh in my mind, and whosoever visits such places remembers them for quite a long time because of their natural sceneries and the beauty they experience there.
